FON & FA

We think self progression is imperative to any creative, there’s always room for experimentation and to evolve in accordance to your environment, we personally ensure that we are constantly cultivating our knowledge of the world around us and using this knowledge to have a better understanding of our work and exercising our brain to allow expansion for not only our aesthetic approach to each project but our concept narrative as well. We would like to incorporate more social, cultural, ethical and environmental knowledge to our work evoking awareness and discussion on topics we feel passionate about and we feel that it is important for us as artists to push ourselves to attain new skills and techniques in both digital and physical practice, there are vast amounts of traditional artistry skills within every culture that we would love to learn and hopefully become apprentices to these timeless practices. Along with learning technological techniques that will enable us to produce new and unique work which in turn would allow constant growth and improvement.

ABISHA

I prepare myself by setting goals and manifesting my way to them. I visualise where I want to be and what I want to achieve in a certain time frame and then I work with the universe to make it happen. I have pictures on my wall that I printed out and laminated of my future home in LA.. I’ve even given it a name. I imagine studios that I want to work in, people that I’d love to collaborate with, everything.

I’m quite a spiritual person, I believe that the universe is infinitely powerful, and I know this because I’ve manifested pretty much everything in my life so far.

My upcoming ep is called ‘scorpio’.. my mum is an astrologer so I grew up knowing a lot about star signs and things like that and it plays a massive part in my life, and I’m a scorpio so that’s what the EP is named after!

Right now, I’m preparing myself by writing lots of new music and evolving my sound, I hope for my music to reach a lot more people in the next year and be able to do more live shows, maybe some kind of tour!

JONAH

My names Jonah, I’m 20 years old from south London. I’ve been modelling for around 2 years now. First started by walking in London fashion week and just started getting jobs from there. Whilst working with a brand called Hoodlab I realised what I wanted to do besides modelling… I’m now working on my own brand inspired by emotion mainly and life in general I guess. In the couple years I’ve been involved in the industry I’ve learnt a lot of things that will help me in my endeavours and just business overall. Initially it’ll just be clothes and accessories but eventually I’m trying to do way more.I think in a place like London I don’t expect to be popping straight away but I do believe that if I stick to what pushed me to create in the first place I will kick down doors eventually.

Throughout this whole year I’ve been writing and recording music. Honestly I’m holding on to it now but maybe the streets will get something lol. It’s not really at the forefront of my mind as it stands.

I think the main goal of this upcoming year is to give people similar to me something they really feel and relate to. So whatever it is, whether it’s clothes, a book, or music (all of which I’m working on) I hope people just like me, can connect with it.

YVON

An artist who faced struggles growing up and uses poetry & music as a release, form of expression and therapy. Would describe myself as an old soul inspired by artists like Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Jazmine Sullivan etc ... I stand for love, being who you are and staying original in a society that pressures us to conform. In my song “Run” ft Dekar, I express the feeling of not belonging and wanting to escape to paradise with a lover where we can be free.

As much as I enjoy being a professional model and part of the fashion industry, music is my true passion and way of communicating with the world.
